Life Coaching Case Studies
We were delighted to receive this recommendation
In 2002, we had both been working in inner city education in Glasgow for more than twenty years, and knew that it would be difficult to keep up the pace and enthusiasm required for another ten, and then to face retirement in that cold and wet climate! With much encouragement from Anne, we took early retirement, upped sticks and moved to South West France.
Above is our new house – quite different from our Glasgow abode! We have lots of work to do, but we are living in a rural environment which we love and are completely removed from the pressure of 9-5 targets, not to mention the daily stress of rush hour driving. Below are details of other people we have worked
with who have given us permission to tell their stories
Mary was a Marketing Manager for a College. Mary had always felt at a disadvantage because she didn’t have a degree, although her job was interesting. She didn’t acknowledge this openly, but it was always at the back of her mind. One day she saw one of our advertisements and decided to embark on a course of life coaching. It enabled her to take the necessary steps to fulfil her dream and she’s now completed her degree and is running her own training and development business.
Laura was working in a Primary Care Trust during a period of change. She was not happy with relationships at work and did not feel in charge of other aspects of her life. Coaching helped her to take control of her life, resulting in improved working relationships and significant changes in her approach to challenges at work and home. "It was your ability to bring out the best in me that helped me to achieve so much."
Pratiba, a mother of 3, was working in administration in a Social Services department. She undertook a qualification, where she was assessed in the workplace. She felt that she wanted to do it, but felt overwhelmed with juggling her home life and work commitments and she became very run-down and so gave up. Through coaching she was able to resume and achieve the qualification, build confidence and achieve balance in the different aspects of her life.
